Brief answer....must consult a urologist and get investigated
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
A brown semen is generally due to the presence of blood in it.
This blood in semen could be due to infection in prostate or some local trauma or may be due to strenuous sexual activity or may be even a very high blood pressure. In general most of the time reason is benign and not worrisome but sometimes cancer of prostate or testicles or bladder can result in brown semen.
In order to find the exact cause, you must consult a urologist and get investigations like semen culture, digital rectal examination, ultrasound scan etc.
Treatment would depend upon the cause.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks

I take Exforge 10/320 to control my high Blood pressure. It controls my blood pressure well. It currently is 129/79 and is always within 'normal' range. The only thing I can think of according to your reply to my question is that a month ago I did land flat on my butt onto a concrete surface when a beach lounge chair I was sitting in collapsed beneath me, causing me fall straight down about 10" onto the concrete surface. I landed right on my butt/tail bone. It was sour for about three weeks, but is now feeling better. I didn't notice any discoloration in my semen until about 2 days ago. Could this be the cause of the discoloration? I'm guessing so, but, would ask if it would take so long to show up after the injury?

Hello,
Since your BP is under control so it can't be the reason.
Your injury can cause some bleeding in prostate because at your age veins are fragile and can burst easily but it looks highly improbable since injury happened one month ago.
I would want this issue to be explored so as to not miss anything dreadful.
Thanks
