What Causes An Awful Feeling, Fatigue, Lightheadedness, Muscle Cramps And Anxiety Despite Taking Atenolol, Olmesartan, Diazepam And Alprazolam?

Question: I have been taken from 100 mg to 25 mg of atenolol, and from 5 mg to 20 mg of olmesartan. I also take 5 mg of diazepam 4xday and 0.25 mg of alprazolam 1xday for anxiety. I was taking 75 mg of doxylamine succinate for sleep, but didn't feel it was doing anything and have cut down to 12.5 and still falling asleep OK.

Problems are that at the halfway point of the medication switch I was feeling great. The tiredness almost gone and energy to do things (that was the reason for the change), but now at the lowest dose of atenolol/highest of olmesartan I am feeling awful. Tired again, some lightheadedness, muscle cramps, feeling some anxiety. What of what I've been doing would be the likely cause? Too little atenolol? Too much olmestartin? One of them interacting with the benzos and causing symptoms because the benzos are not as effective? It didn't start until a couple of days after the last cuts to the doses I'm stating as current. Any help please?

Brief Answer:
Possible drug interactions

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma'am, i have gone through your question and i understand your concerns but using diazepam with atenolol or olmesartan can lead to further reduction of your blood pressure and can result in side effects of headache, dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting.. These side effects are more likely to occur on starting the medication or on dose adjustements.. Also using diazepam with doxylamine succinate can lead to moderate interactions that lead to the side effects of confusion, drowsiness ,dizziness, difficult concentration, impaired coordination or thinking.. also you should avoid eating oranges or grapefruits while taking this medications to avoid further interactions. i hope you find this helpful. if you don't have any other clarifications then please close the discussion..
