Question: I have a small cluster of bumps on the side of my mouth just below my lip. They get red after washing my face and are dry and itchy throughout the day. I have had them for 3 weeks and it seems to be getting worse. Looking for some help on what to do. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Possible viral infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

1)Do a clinical examination by your Doctor [Dermatologist] and do CBC with differential.

2)Discuss with your treating Doctor about prescription medication like [Acyclovir] orally and it's cream for skin application.

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this -

1)Try to avoid skin-to-skin contact with others.

2)Avoid sharing items. Utensils, towels, lip balm and other items.

3)Try to Keep your hands clean.

4)Try to reduce stress
