What Causes Left Upper Quadrant Pain?

Question: I have pain on my LUQ that just started a couple of hours ago... I just started taking terbinafine for nail fungus and the other day I had a migraine and I took two sumatriptan in one day 4 hours apart, the next day I just took one bayer migraine with 250 of ASA and acetaminophen each. I'm worried.

Brief Answer: can be drug induced gastritis Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX Thanks for writing to HCM. You seem to be having drugs induced gastritis. To my patients presenting like this i usually prescribe them a ppi like omeprazole or pantaprazole on empty stomach in the morning. You also try this for a day or two and there is improvement, continue for a few weeks. But for the prescription you have to see your local doctor. Hope i have helpful. Dr. Ashish Verma
