70% blockage in the left coronary artery causes a significant reduction in blood flow to the heart. So there needs to be an intervention to re-establish the blood flow. Depending on your general condition, patency of other coronary vessels and cardiac function, your cardiologist can decide upon going ahead either with angioplasty or coronary artery bypass grafting.
You will also need long-term antiplatelet therapy (aspirin, clopidogrel etc), beta blocker, lipid-lowering medication (statin) and anticoagulation after coronary intervention.
Your cardiologist can also recommend an exercise regimen that is well tolerated.
Adequate control of hypertension and diabetes, if present is very important. Follow a healthy diet rich in fiber (like rice, XXXXXXX oat, vegetables), more unsaturated fatty acids (like salmon, chicken/turkey breast, almonds etc.). Avoid too much-saturated fats, fried food, processed sugars in your diet.
