Brief Answer:
Take the child to the ER

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Ingestion of Dettol liquid (4.8% chloroxylenol, pine oil, isopropyl, alcohol), can cause central nervous system depression and corrosion of the oral mucosa, larynx and the gastrointestinal tract. Nausea, vomiting with burning sensation of oral mucosa, and abdominal pain are the common clinical presentations of acute ingestion of dettol at mild quantities. The main risk however is pulmonary aspiration, leading to pneumonia, adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and even sudden cardiorespiratory arrest. I would therefore insist you to take your child to the ER and to place him under observation.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
