Question: Welcome to 'Ask a Doctor'. Please type your question here...i am a 44 year old woman who usually has 4-5 day periods at the most, now i am on day 9, should i be worried

I have gone through your history and images and understand your concern.

It could be due to hormonal imbalance caused by the premenopausal stage.
If you are not having any other symptoms and bleeding is not very heavy, it could be due to starting of your menses.

So I would suggest you go for further investigations and evaluation by your treating doctor for the same if you have persistent bleeding.
Take iron and calcium supplementations for the same.
