Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my clinical experience, acute gastritis with built up of stomach acid
is the most common cause of feeling heavy between chest and stomach
with less likely causes as gall stones and else.

My guidelines are as below

- Drink more liquids in sessions.
- Prefer easily digestible food stuffs as rice, curd, fresh fruits, cereals, pulses
- Avoid all spices, non veg, junk food stuffs.
- Avoid aerated drinks as soda and others.
- Keep stomach empty by 25 % of satiety value and consume small amount
of food at frequent intervals.
- Avoid late night dinner and sleeping immediately after meals or supper.
- Capsule omeprazole ( 20 mg ) with sips of water on empty stomach
morning and evening.
- No pain killer is recommended at this point to avoid further stomach upset.
- Refrain from smoking and alcohol if consuming.
- Manage to have sound sleep of 7 hours.
- Avoid stress and anxiety.
- Regular exercises and YOGA with deep breathing exercises, walking in
fresh air.

Overall, life style modifications are more important than medical part.
Would like to address further queries as per the need.

Wish you best recovery and health.
Regards.
