Posted on Thu, 18 Apr 2024
Question: Recently had a transvaginal ultrasound.
Findings were: uterus measures 80x63x33mm (86cc),
Right ovary: 42x24x25mm (13cc) with 7 follicles largest 15mm
Left ovary:28x21x1mm (3cc) with <5 follicles largest 7.8mm
I just wanted to know if any of this was a concern or a suggestion of ovarian cancer especially since right ovary volume was high

Not related to ovarian cancer

Hello,
Your right ovarian volume is increased due to formation of multiple cysts. This is suggestive of a polycystic ovary.
