Brief Answer:
Startling might help

Detailed Answer:
Hi....hiccups are physiological. There are 2 options -
1. Put some sugar in the mouth.
2. Make a sudden noise from his behind without his knowledge. This is a routinely done home remedy for hiccups.
Startling might help.
Unless he's turning blue or hsving breathing difficulty or having pain in stomach you need not worry.
