Question: Is there any way I can get relief from Valley fever or build up my immune system?

Valley fever is a fungal infection caused by an organism called coccidioides. Most people with valley fever get better without treatment. It is only in the serious forms of the disease that antifungals like fluconazole or itraconazole need to be used. Amphotericin B or newever alternatives like voriconazole and posaconazole can be used for even more serious ones.
However, you need to take plenty of colourful fruits since they contain plenty of antioxidants. A healthy lifestyle comprising regular exercise and backed up with a healthy diet with plenty of green leafy vegetables, is essential. Apart from this there is not specific intervention that would make your immunity stronger. If you are not immunocompromised due to HIV infection or similar ailments, you need not worry.
