Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation In Foot And Ankle

default
Posted on Mon, 23 Nov 2015
Question: Earlier last evening I felt an intense and irritating tingling in my right foot and ankle. Side note: I recently miscarried and bled quite fluidly for 15 days and perhaps this is a cause but I fell asleep easily and woke up 3 hours later unable to sit still, very uncomfortable with RLS. :( thoughts?

Unlikely due to miscarriage and bleeding.Tell details.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

I have gone through your detailed discussions with the fellow Gynaecologist.
Even I must say that this intense tingling and irritation in the right foot and ankle is not due to miscarriage and bleeding you had.

However,to answer this further well,I need to know a few more details-
1)How long this tingling and irritation did last for?Is it still persisting?
2)You said that you are unable to sit. What difficulty are you having in sitting?Pain,irritation--?
3)Any redness or tenderness(pain on touching)in the ankle and foot?
4)What do you want to say by hypersensitive? Is it painful?or tingling?or irritation? What is hypersensitive in your terms?

I shall be looking forward to your follow-up question with above details, gladly.
