Question: Hi, I recently had unprotected sex and when I woke up the next morning my whole vagina was swollen, itching and burning and it's been that way for almost a week now with no signs of improvement. What could this be and what should I do about it?

Brief Answer:
Examination required

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for trusting health care magic
It is common to have candidial infection after unprotected sexual activity but it is very difficult to assign a diagnosis without examination
You can apply candid cream on the affected area and avoid any sexual activity
Akso wear a cotton based underwear and keep the area clean and dry
Try to avoid scratching your affected area and apply cream twice a day instead
In case of no relief visit a gynaecologist
