Question: I have a swelling on the left side of my buttocks near the anus. It isn't very sore. Is it an infection?

it is a round pea size swelling, no itching, no problems with bowel movements no bleeding no itching. difficult to take a picture....

- Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water 5 minutes every 2 times a
a day, additionally after passing stool) will help a lot.
- Check diet intake so that you get smooth bowel movements with high fiber,
green leafy veg, whole grains, cereals, pulses, organic fresh fruits.
- Avoid oily, spicy, junk foods stuff as much as possible.

- Consulting with consultant surgeon if the size increases, pain or other symptoms
appear .
