Brief Answer:
Needs management and monitoring

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern.Leg swelling of ankles, calf and feet with history of diabetes, hypertension, coronary stents and renal failure is self explanatory. Both cardiac causes and renal causes your husband fiance have can lead to such discomforts. This edema needs to be controlled by controlling the cause, treating kidney disease and controlling hypertension and getting frequent monitoring of kidney and heart functions is advised. If the functions are declined, your fiance' may need admission to the hospital as well. Let your doctor decide what is best for him.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and your fiance' and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
