Question: my son is 3 1/2 yrs old and has speech problems. he doesn't seem to be able to say certain letters very good at all. I try working with him but it doesn't seem to help. his older sister speaks great and his not quite 2 yr old younger sister speaks and is way more understandable than he is. I'm really worried. is there something that can be causing this issue? also who would I even take him to see? wehomeschool. as well so I would need some ideas on what to do please.

Brief Answer:
Calls for early intervention.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Your 3.5 year child needs to be evaluated by a speech and language pathologist (SLP) and needs to undergo speech therapy. The exact nature of problem can only be commented upon after proper evaluation. Once in a while children develop speech problems and the problem needs to be diagnoses early as early intervention can significantly improve the outcomes. I would insist you not to ignore it.
