Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

Question: My throat has been sore for almost two months. I've taken antibiotics and it hasn't gone away. My throat hurts worse than ever and there are no white patches on my throat. I can barely open my neck and my neck muscles are sore

Thanks for posting the query

According to the history given by you, I am of the opinion that you could be having Glosso-pharyngeal neuralgia. In the absence of any inflammation or patches with difficulty in mouth opening is usually related to glosso-pharyngeal neuralgia. Other probable causes could be severe laryngo-pharyngeal reflux and temporo-mandibular joint disorder.

I would suggest you to consult a good ENT specialist for the confirmation of the same and further management.
