Question: My father has urine infection since 1 year and this time it showed pus cell as unlimited. Can you please tell me what does it mean and how this time infection can be controlled. Should we go for urine culture test this time to overcome this again.
He can't go for surgery since he has stunt in his heart and multiple problems are there because of which Dr advised not to have surgery. bcoz it is risky in his case.

Brief Answer:
Urine culture and antibiotic sensitivity test

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Sorry for the delay in my response.

Yes, there is a need for urine culture and antibiotic sensitivity test. Unlimited pus cells indicate severe infection.

The test will identify the bacteria involved and also provides a list of antibiotics to which the bacteria would be susceptible. Placing him on such antibiotics will surely cure him.

hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.

Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

Yes, it could be.
