Posted on Fri, 23 Oct 2015
Question: I have lower back pressure, intestinal gas, and frequent stools. Stools are not soft an watery. When I have a BM it is gassy, followed by some feces, followed by gas, etc. Rubbing the very low back area helps some. Often worse after lifting something heavy.

Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you to my virtual clinic HCM!
I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns today and will put my best efforts to get you out of this situation.

You have gastrointestinal motility disturbances and there is lack of dietary fiber content on your diet. Your diet isn't balanced and healthy and that depicts in your changed bowel habits and other symptoms you have.

Make a schedule for taking the meals at the same time daily and never make delays in dinner. Before 2-3 hours of night's sleep you must finish with your dinner.

Take plenty of water and add Citrucel dietary fiber supplement in diet. It will make proper bulk of the stools and will maintain the motility of the bowels in a regular way.

Take Pantocid-L ( combination of Pantoprazole+Levosulpiride ) daily before breakfast and before dinner. It will help in digestion and will make a better motility of your gut possible. It will lead to better digestion of food and you will get resolution of the symptoms soon.

Take fruits, vegetables and salads and salmon fish in diet. No fried and fast spicy junk foods. Avoid caffeinated drinks and chocolates. Avoid dairy products until you get better.

If your digestive symptoms doesn't go away in a couple of days take a prescription from your local physician for Rifaximin antibiotic for relief as it may be an infection of the gut causing symptoms.

Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns or doubts. I will be more than happy to get back to you in no time.
