Brief Answer:
Temporary use of preventive medicine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Since you are experiencing migraine headaches so often during this period of the year, preventive treatment could be used in this period for one month or two.

Drugs used to prevent migraine headaches include:

- betablockers (propranolol)
- calcium channel blockers (verapamil)
- antidepressants (amitryptiline)
- antiseizure drugs (valproate, topiramate)
- botox injections in muscles of neck and forehead

Also remember to avoid migraine triggers such oral contraceptives, stress, alcohol, excess of caffeine, processed and salty foods, physical exertion.

Once this period passed, you can continue to your routine medication.

Discuss with your Doctor about prescribing one of the above mentioned drugs for prevention.

Correct treatment of migraines avoids the possibility of debilitating you.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
