Brief Answer:
Request you to share kidney scan reports

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Your concern about cysts in ovaries and kidneys is understandable . With family history of heart diseases and cancers on both sides, it is important to get evaluated in detail and follow up regularly with your doctors.

Regarding cysts in ovaries, if they have resolved with time (as seen on the internal scan) then its functional cysts probably due to hormonal influences. These cysts can occasionally pain due to their size. Sine they have resolved, it is no longer a concern.

Details of the kidney cysts with regards to number, size , location and appearance needs to be known to comment on the serious nature of the findings. As you also mention blood in your urine, it becomes more important to evaluate the kidney cysts. There are many patterns of kidney cysts which can occur in a person. Even a single cyst measuring more than 3 cms in diameter with internal septations, need to be evaluated in detail and followed up closely.

There are few hereditary conditions in which the patient can have multiple cysts in both kidneys. Your scan report findings can provide more accurate information to discuss if you have any of these in details.

It will help to discuss your kidney cysts after reading your reports. You can attach your kidney scan reports and then we can discuss your case in detail. Please also write about the amount of blood you pass in urine and any tests done showing blood in urine.

Waiting for your updates.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
