Brief Answer:
Need some information from you ma'am

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. If you do not mind me asking you a few questions to better understand your condition and in order to better help you, please provide me with a kind response for the following:
-When was the first time you experienced pain in the affected regions?
-Was an x ray taken? If yes, please attach it to our discussion. Thank you.
-When did the doctor inform you about this being a calcium deposit (year and month)?
-Were your serum uric acid levels measured? If yes, please provide me with the levels.
-What treatment was prescribed to tackle this?

Thank you so much for your co-operation. I do believe that the pain you are experiencing is due to a bony growth, but I suspect elevated uric acid levels to be the cause. Looking forward to hearing from you in order to help you further ma'am.

Best wishes.

I have had this for about three years getting bigger as we go. The doctor didn't do any tests. Thanks for letting me know what to ask and what to get done.

Brief Answer:
You are most welcome ma'am

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.

You are most welcome.

Please do request him for an elaborate evaluation or visit another doctor. You will require an xray, a serum uric acid level, and a physical examination along with your history details to find out the source of the osteophyte.

Please feel free to write back to me anytime, for any further guidance.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
