Brief Answer:
Most likely meralgia paresthetica.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Your symptoms are more consistent with a condition known as meralgia paresthetica, a condition characterized by burning pain and/or numbness in your outer thigh(s).

It is caused by compression of the sensory nerve that supplies outer thigh.

It is more common in overweight people, those who wear tight clothing, but can be caused also by trauma, diabetes.

Other conditions that may cause similar symptoms are skin diseases, but these manifest with skin changes too.

However, it is necessary to consult with your primary care Doctor and discuss about these issues.

If meralgia paresthetica is confirmed, loosing weight ( if you are overweight ), wearing loose clothing, no belt at all, should improve your symptoms.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

I remain at your disposal for further questions and clarifications.

Take care.
