Has sour smell, teeth all good; some gum recession, furry tongue( I use tongue scrapper 2 times a day; minor stomach irritation ( not really pain) in am, seems worse with stressful situations, wake up around 2:30 am at night, on and off sleep for remainder of night, unusual stiffness in muscles,

Brief Answer:
Halitosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic and thanks for putting up the query,

Bad breath can be because of various reasons. As you have said your teeth are good and you clean your tongue regularly, oral hygiene which is the commonest reason is ruled out.

Please let me know do you also have any gastric regurgitation or indigestion? Any chronic nasal congestion or throat infection?

Any specific medicines that you have been taking?

Please follow up with the required information so that I can suggest you better.
Take care
Thanks and regards
