Suggest Treatment For Fatigue While On Prednisone
Question: Is Mycophenolate Mofetil safer than continuing with 20 years of Prednisone. I am on a maintenance of 7 mg but still suffer from more pain and fatigue than I'd like. What are the comparative side effects?

I don’t think that is saffer because Mycophenolate is used in combination with other medications to keep your body from attacking and rejecting your transplanted organ (such as kidney, liver, heart). It belongs to a class of medications called immunosuppressants,and such a kind of medication he has a lot of side effects like grave infection,some kind of cancer,brain demages,fatigue,weakness etc
Prednisone have very side effects too,but in your case I agree with your doctor ,it’s a right medication
