Brief Answer:
Suggestions on the behaviour

Detailed Answer:
HI...Thanks for consulting on health care magic.

This is quite normal in this age group. This is the age when kids develop interest n their genital and psychosocial development and sometimes it is not abnormal. But there is also an entity called "Exhibitonism" which is too early to develop now.

The best way to curtail this is by not giving undue important to this type of behavior - and telling hi what is right and what is wrong in an loving and affectionate manner. Reprimanding will not work here and actually it might generate undue interest and aggravate this type of behavior.

8 years and 6 years is too young an age to do something to have an end achieved.

I have a few questions for you -
1. Is there a possibility that he might have seen a sexual act some where?
2. Is he doing this for the 1st time or is it a repetition?
3. How are his peer relationships?
4. Any school complaints?
5. What was the girl's reaction to this?

If you can get back to me with the information I have requested, I will be able to help you if it is normal or not.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
