Suggest Treatment For Excessive Urination And Dry Mouth

default
Posted on Tue, 8 Sep 2015
Question: I am waking every hour with dry mouth and have been urinating a lot. This is causing me to be very anxious and i feel if I fall asleep for an hour and my dry mouth causes me to wake, I get myself into a highly anxious state. I did take medication occasionally in the past for anxiety, but am not taking anything right now.
I do take mess for blood pressure, cholesterol, and have recently started taking doctor prescribed potassium. For a kidney stone and have also started taking some other herbal vitamin supplements on my own.
I have had previous anxiety issues when I would get myself so hyper that I could not calm myself down to relax. I am not sure if my waking every hour is due to anxiety or the extremely dry mouth I am experiencing the last few nights?

Brief Answer:
Check for diabetes

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
While anxiety can cause your symptoms, excessive urination and the dry mouth from dehydration are typical symptoms of diabetes.
It would be good to have your blood sugar checked and urine examined.
