Question: I suffer from extreme constipation. my stool gets blocked by a ball like dried like stone at the end of rectum so I have to strain to pass this out with great difficulty then the rest flows out normally. what should I do. If I take 1 tablespoon of Cremmaffin every night then I have no problem.

Brief Answer:
Rectal obstruction: Get a proctoscopy done.

Detailed Answer:
Dear user,

Thanks for your faith in Haelthcare Magic.

I will directly answer your question by politely asking you to go to a surgeon so a PR (Per Rectal) examination can take place and a proctoscopy can be done. This is the best way to assess your real condition. I believe that what you have is a rectal polyp or a thrombosed internal haemmorhoid. The fact is that you need to be physically examined, so that you may benefit.
You're OK.

As mentioned earlier I had recently a radical porostatectomy(robotic) done on 25 th feb 2015 the cancer was contained in the prostrate itself. Can I do a prroctoscopy so soon after the surgery as its not even a month. Untill such time can I take cremaffin every night before sleeping as I feel comfortable to pass a soft stool.
awaiting your reply.

Brief Answer:
You can take it, there are no issues.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

I sincerely feel that Cremaffin is an excellent choice for a laxative. I will show you another option - why not try Isabgol for perfect bowel movements? Isabgol is a naturally occurring substance extracted from plants. A table spoon after dinner mixed with milk, should work wonders.

I feel that Cremaffin is also a good choice. You can continue taking it, however you might prefer Isabgol, if you try it.

Considering all factors, you are OK.

Feel free to contact me.
Best wishes,
Dr. Neel Kudchadkar
