Brief Answer:
no warts.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having bump behind the tonsil. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any pain or sore throat or difficulty in swallowing ?

Kindly get back to me with the details.

Based on your clinical details and picture, it does not look like oral warts.

I, need some more pictures to differentiate normal fold from any other lesion. Kindly attach few more snaps to give you advise and the exact diagnosis.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

It is not painful to swallow or any sore throat, one of the folds is much more red than the other and bled when I touched it as well, so that was my concern with it being a wart. Would a normal fold bleed like that? I will get another picture of it here, thank you for your help.

Brief Answer:
normal- does not bleed.

Detailed Answer:

Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

No, Normal mucosal fold does not bleed. It looks like mucosal ulcer secondary to nutritional deficiencies or trauma (repeated finger palpations) or unhealed pharyngitis. It doesn't look like a wart from what I see. Anyway, evaluate with blood tests (complete blood picture for deficiencies and infections) and laryngoscopy (to see the depth and extent of ulcer) from an ent surgeon.

All the best. Take care.
