Detailed Answer:
Welcome to health care magic, I share your concern and I will try to help you out in best possible way.
After carefully observing the affected area. I am of the opinion that there is necrosis of soft tissue. following the injury from the baseball, the affected area is more likely to go in for liquefaction necrosis( death of soft tissue in and around injured area). Which can't be prevented but will have to be drained with an incision in clinical settings in case there is any worsening. If not, it will resolve on its own. Apply cold compresses and you can take tab. valdecoxib 90 mg in the night if there is lot of pain. It usually takes a month or so to completely resolve on its own.
I hope this helps you
