Suggest Treatment For Anxiety Attacks

Question: Hello! About two months ago, I was given a prescription of Ativan by my doctor for anxiety/panic attacks. I took it for a week and a half, .5 mg 2x a day, but stopped due to side effects and then experienced withdrawals. I haven't take it since but am having a really bad anxiety episode today. Would it be made just to take the .5 mg dose to help me through this episode? Or would it be better to just try and power through? Thanks.

Get enough sleep
Participate in physical activities.
Accept that you’re anxious.
Breathe slowly and deeply.
Find something which is visually soothing
Surround yourself with positive people
Consider your triggers and find solution beforehand.
Take one problem at one time.
