Topical antibacterial

Hi.
Dear User, I can provide you with generic names only.
I can provide you with a few other options of topical antibacterials that can also be used in your case e.g Fusidic acid, framycetin sulphate, Neomycin etc. You may visit a nearby dug store and inquire for an OTC topical antibacterial brand that is available with them
For a prescription you need to visit your local practitioner for the needful.

Further to the trailing information,
The mild wound formed persists and the foreskin around the wound is swollen so that the foreskin can't be moved up.

Brief Answer:
Candidal balanoposthitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I will keep a possibility of Candidal Balanoposthitis. I guess it would be a little itchy too. However, I would prefer a photograph to be sure.
Is there any history of vaginal discharge/vulval itching in your sexual partner?
For candidal balanoposthtitis, I would suggest a topical antifungal e.g clotrimzole 1% cream twice daily for 7 days.
A single dose of an Oral antifungal e.g Fluconazole will also be curative. Oral antifungals are prescription drugs. I would suggest that you visit a specialist for a confirmatory diagnosis.

Hi Doctor
I have attached the photos of infected area as on date.
Wound is formed by wear and tear only due to insufficient lubricants and my partner has no history of any inflammation.
I am continuing Mupirocin. Swelling and pus has reduced. Since Wound is on vain as seen in photo, it creates itchy and painful sensation. Also since it is not exposed, thewound remains as it is without getting healed /dried

Brief Answer:
Herpes Genitalis; upload another clear photo
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for the photographs. Photograph makes a lot of difference in helping with diagnosis.
I can clearly see that there are 2 erosions on the upper side of penis skin and probably there are a few more erosions/ulcers on the undersurface as well but they are not very clear in this photograph.
Can you upload another photograph taken in good light and with good clarity? Make sure the lesions are clearly visible.
Previously I was just speculating about the diagnosis based on your description but I would like to keep another possibility of Herpes Genitalis after having a look at the photograph.
I will now exclude candidal balanoposthitis after having a look at the photograph and i don't think it is because of trauma.
I would suggest that you continue with mupirocin ointment. If this is indeed herpes genitalis, a course of an oral antiviral would be required.
