Question: hello,
i have been eating less and healthier for about 3 weeks now, and feel bloated. My face has gotten thinner and my legs but stomach seems bigger. I feel bloated and some pain and it seems to be more bloated after bowel movements. is this because i am eating healthier?

Brief Answer:
may be related to diet change

Detailed Answer:
HI , thanks for using healthcare magic

If by eating healthier, you mean more fruits and vegetables and more fiber, then it is possible that these are contributing to your symptoms.

There are some fruits, vegetables such as brussel sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, XXXXXXX cauliflower, carrots, prunes, apples, apricots.
Beans can also have this effect.

An abrupt increase in whole grain fiber can also cause increased bloating.

You may need to consider decreasing these vegetables and fruits , if you are currently using them

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Brief Answer:
good idea

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Yes, this would be a good idea, if you are using any of the other foods on the list then you should decrease them as well

If there is no improvement, may need reflux medication even if you have no other reflux symptoms
Reflux meds helpp with bloating eg pepcid, zantac, nexium, prilosec, prevacid etc

Please feel free to ask anything else
