Brief Answer:
As per the instructions on the paper with the packet.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

From what I understand you wish to pass a suppository per rectally for easy passage of stool. If this is what you meant, I can understand your embarrassment.

ER visit is not mandatory; but you might need some assistance initially. Any way, you can try it first by yourself. The process to insert it as follows:
Your have to uncover the suppository ( remove from the wrapper), make it wet with plain water. Have a lying down position on a bed ( face up position ), pull / bend the legs up and try to relax the anal area. You can easily slide the suppository once you try to push it through the anus as high as possible. You can use a lubricant like a hair oil if you need to.

Please try and I am sure you can do this easily.

If you are still worried or can not do it properly, you may certainly visit ER , learn, possibly try to do it yourself under the guidance of a female nurse. Once done you can do this again wherever necessary.

Or is it that you are talking about the ready-made enema ?
It is available as a self dispenser. There are instruction in detail written on the paper provided with it. This too is done in the same position. Just follow the instructions and if you are worried you can certainly visit the ER and do it under the supervision of the female nurse.

I hope this clears your doubt.
If there is still a gap of communication or something we could not relate or understand please feel free to ask for more clarification.
