my daughter head seems hot but while checking with thermometer its not showing any sign of fever

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

A thermometer is the standard instrument used to measure temperature. If it reads a value not suggestive of fever, then it is not fever. We normally expect the body temperature to be more than 37.5C before we can mention fever. Please, the head is hot relative to your hand and not that she has fever.

For now, monitor only and seek consultation if the temperatures meet the definition of fever and not how it feels when you touch her. How is she? Can she eat, drink and play normally?
