Brief Answer:
Injury must have healed till now. You need physiotherapy now.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.Immobilisation is already sufficient. I think whether you developed reflex sympathetic dystrophy in foot because of so much immobilisation. You can consult Orthopedician or physiotherapist for it. Its primary treatment is analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief and physiotherapist. For pain in knee and back rest and analgesic is primary treatment. You can get x rays of both knees in standing and x ray lumbar spine to rule out osteoarthritis which is common in your age. Glucosamine can be of use.You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.

i know i have oustioarthritis with knees and lower back issues. but had not risen until the issue with the boot.

i was in great shape before all this with extensive exercise but now can only do streches. asked dr for physio therapy but he said i didn't need it.

i worry this foot and boot will be with me much longer and then i will become more of a cripple. the med's you mention are doing nothing. haven't had any problems with those two areas till now . he prescribed the pill i told you about which is an inter inflammatory . so far no relief from anything other than ice.
made apt with back dr for this week .Sorry made a mistake not a chiropractor for foot a podiatrist is who I went too

Brief Answer:
Orthopedician and pain management doctor can be useful.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back
Your arthritis may have been aggravated by Boot application. Glucosamine is useful in arthritis. You can take ibuprofen for pain relief. If pain is more than you can take tramadol.
In foot and ankle there may be sympathetic reflex dystrophy. You can consult pain management doctor for treatment of it. Its treatment is analgesic and physiotherapy now. Strong analgesic such as tramadol can be useful.
Everything else already discussed.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.
