Posted on Wed, 30 Dec 2015
Question: I did not mean to close out my last question and had one final request. Can you forward to the doctor (Indu Kumar) managing?

1. How big does the cyst appear to be?
2 do you recommend histopathology testing if removed? If so, what is the reason if it is benign?

Thank you so much!

Brief Answer:
Big sized, benign subcutanous cyst noted....

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This is Dr.Sejdini here to help you further with your queries.

I have gone through the images you uploaded and can answer as following:

1. The subcutanous cyst noted was of big size.

2. These subcutaneous cysts are benign. However, if I was your caring doctor would recommend histopathology testing if removed to determine the benign nature.

Removal is recommended depending on clinical symptoms (e.g. pain) or for antithetical reasons.

Hope it answered to your queries!
