Suggest Remedy For Chills And Headache After Having De-worming Medicines
Question: I was fearful of taking Adenza for pin worms so I took the OTC Pin X, stopped the itching and seems to be working 3 days in now I am getting a headache slight chills for a minute but now gone is this normal?the dosing for adenza was 2 tablets 200 mg, Ive taken according to my weight on the cup dosage.

I read your question and i understand your concern. Pyrantel pamoate ( Pin X) alone was enough to do the deworming of pinworms. Some doctors may suggest repeating the dose with adenza or combination of both , that too is good.
Yes the dose of albendazole is 2 tablets of 200 mg once for pinworms. Now that your symptoms of pinworms are gone, its good thing. You have taken the right dosages and should be worried about any thing.
Headache and slight chills only for a minute and self resolving should not be worried about. Take soem tylenol for that if recurs.
