Suggest Remedies For Pain In-between The Eyebrows Post An Accident

Question: Almost 12 hours ago, I bent down to pick something up, came up fast, and the back of my head hit a cabinet pretty hard. I iced it immediately, but have felt a little off since. No serious symptoms like vomiting or confusion, but all these hours later I noticed I have a small tender pain spot in between my eyebrows if pressure is applied. I can also hear my heartbeat in my ears when they are against a pillow. Is this worrisome? Should I not go to sleep? Or go to the ER?

Brief Answer:
not concerning

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
If there was no loss of conciousness, vomit or memory loss, then you should not be worried. This is commonly seen symptoms after head contusion and mild brain concussion may be present but there is no specific treatment for it but rest, avoiding lights, noise, smoky areas and take nonsteroid painkillers. Pain at area where hit was, small degree of nausea, heartbeat hearing are not concerning signs unless there is associated dizziness, vision loss, loss of sensations in extremitties, vomiting more than 3x.
So I dont think that CT scan is required. Try to rest as I said and continue with icing. You can go to sleep if this is your sleeping time, but it would be good if adult person could be with you in next 24 hours. Wish you good health. Regards
