Suggest Pain Medication For Severe Arthritic Pain In Several Places And Joints When Prednisone Prescription Is Not Discontinued
Question: I was prescribed Prednisone 20 mg for 5 days at urgent care on May 4 '18. all my severe arthritic pain in several places & joints was gone in one day. Symptoms have returned , But my doc( NP) is reluctant to prescribe . I can't tolerate the Tramadol she gave for pain. Her next Rx is Diclofenac(sp?) $1,000 per tube. which I cannot afford. They had shoulders xrayed ... I am a candidate for &(my next orders are to get ).steroid shots in shoulders my pain is in diverse places , NOT just shoulders! I am in agony,& know Pred is a miracle for the condition... will any responsible dr. start me on Prednisone again? Home ph. 505 892 7752

Rather than that many modalities of approach are there. I would have put you on opiod fentanyl patch depending on the body weight. You can enquire and get it patched by any authorised doctor of your locality. You can even be given patient controlled analgesia iv with fentanyl or morphine. Sir Diclofenac tablet or injections are also affordable only not so costly. Kindly ask for brand name which has lesser amount. steroid injection is also good options. Options are broad and cheap also you just need to enquire any medical store of your locality. You can even check internet to know the prizes. Feel free to ask any questions to me.
