Brief Answer:
start macrolide group of antibiotic.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Thanks for your follow up question.

I still suggest to start macrolide group of antibiotics. It is having good coverage in URTI (Upper Respiratory Tract Infection).

Novaclox is amoxicillin plain. And it is not having good coverage in URTI. Macrolide group of antibiotic is superior than novaclox.
So I advice you to start this.

Instead simple montair you should take montair LC. This is having montelukast and levocetrizine combination. Levocetrizine is antihistamine and good for dry cough.

If not improve in 5 days than get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection.

Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further.

Wish you good health.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
get done PFT to rule out asthma.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your follow up question.
In my opinion you should first consult pulmonologist and get done PFT(Pulmonary Function Test).
For the diagnosis of asthma PFT is must. One can not label asthma with out PFT. So consult Pulmonologist and get done PFT.

I also suggest to consult ENT specialist. Because your symptoms like persistent dry cough in night may be seen in fixed obstruction (mechanical) in throat. So we need to rule out polyp and similar things.

So better to rule out this by consulting ENT doctor.

Sorry, I practise in XXXXXXX so can not suggest you a doctor in XXXXXXX You can visit a good Pulmonologist and an Ent specialist in XXXXXXX

Hope I have solved your query. If you are not having further queries, please close the conversation and rate the answer.

Wish you good health.

Thanks.
