You may use Minoxidil 5% solution, 1 ml twice daily, morning and evening. It is available as Regaine 5% solution, Mintop forte solution, Tugain 5%solution. You may use either one of these
Finasteride 1 mg once daily for 2-5 years is recommended, even life long. It is available as Finax 1 mg
Cost of hair transplant depends on the number of hair follicles that are harvested from the occiput for transplant and it varies betwwn 90-110/- Rupee per hair follicle. So if one has 500 follicles transplanted, it would come to around 50000/- to 70000/- for the entire transplant.
