Brief Answer:
Medications mentioned. Discuss with your doctor

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Medications are in different class for RLS. First one increase dopamine levels in brain and help RLS are Ropinirole (Requip), rotigotine (Neupro) and pramipexole (Mirapex). Short-term side effects of these medications are usually mild and include nausea, lightheadedness and fatigue. However, they can also cause impulse control disorders, such as compulsive gambling, and daytime sleepiness.

Drugs affecting calcium channels like gabapentin (Neurontin) and pregabalin (Lyrica) can also be used in RLS. Narcotics painkillers like oxycodone, hydrocodone etc can also be used. Last one is muscle relaxants and benzodiazepines which you use.

YOu can discuss all other options with your doctor and keep discussing until you find the right medication for your symptoms relief.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
