Question: hello doctor, my wife has wisdom tooth pain...due to that she has migrain like pain on the half side of her head. we dont have time to visit doctor as we r leaving for XXXXXXX early morning tomorrow. we have 4 month old baby, she is breastfeeding. can u suggest over the counter medicine(safe for breastfeeding) which will give her rest in travell.

Hi

Thanks for writing in.

Wisdom teeth are vestigeal in role & cause problem in eruption.In case of pain you may give diclo- para- serratio combination 3 times along with amoxi-clav 625 two times a day.Also ask her to do warm saline gargles 3-4 times a day.If problem still persists get it extracted.
Visit your dentist for further treatment plan.
