Question: dAUGHTER HAS BEEN PUT ON aCTOS FOR DIABETIS. bECAUSE SHE LIVES ON A LIMITED INCOME & CANNOT PAY HIGH PRICES. sHE IS TRYING TO GET HER SUGAR DOWN BY DIET ALONE & SHE HAS WILL & DETERMINATION. lOST ABOUT 8# SINCE SHE FOUND OUT ABOUT THE SUGAR. She just wants to get her sugar down as it was12.

He put her on Januvia which was $135 for 30days. She told him it was too much money. She get less than $800 per month

My family will take drugs if there is no way to get back to"normal" Other wise we would rather do it in a more healthy way. How do you feel about that?

Brief Answer:
Dietary control will help

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

I consider dietary control plays more important role than medication in bringing down the blood sugars. It would be fine if her diet style is modified such that the sugars are in the control then, there would be no need for medication and if that happens it can be cured or postponed with diet alone.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.
