Question: Chronic Kidney infections.....IV meropenem seems to be the only thing that clears them up. Cipero and other common orals don't seem to work and i've tested resistant to them in sensitivity tests. Is there an oral equivalent to merpenem?

Brief Answer:
No oral form.

Detailed Answer:
Good day and thank you for being with healthcare magic!

I am sorry to hear that you have chronic infection in your urinary system. No, meropenem has no oral form or oral equivalent.

If you have always air in the bladder, passing out air in the urine, and recurrent infection then chances are you have a fistula between the bowel and the urinary system. It could be between the bladder or the ureter to the colon.

Tests that are to be done should be cystoscopy with retrograde pyelogram, cystography and barium enema.
