Brief Answer:
Consult urologist.Needs detailed work-up

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear.Thanks for your query.

As per the description and the reports shared I would suspect Urinary tract infection which can be possibly due to underlying urinary tract abnormality.

I would recommend a Ultrasound abdominal scan to investigate the same as discussed above.Kindly consult a urologist as early as possible since he might require a detailed work up, evaluation and further investigations to plan further course of action and management.

Please feel free to revert for further queries you may have.

Brief Answer:
Needs immediate/early action and investigation

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your quick revert.

I really cannot tell you unless I would do the relevant investigations. Nevertheless it requires your immediate action so that impending damage if any can be avoided. The reports/results are definitely suggestive of abnormal kidney function. As discussed earlier the cause can be only identified on further evaluation.

Nothing to panic. He shall get well soon.

Dr.Praveen

Can this report be wrong also.

Brief Answer:
You may confirm by repeating the tests

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!Thanks for your revert.

Kidney function is tested by preliminary investigation such as bichemistry (blood and urine sample) and investigated further by other investigations (ultrasound scan, pyelogram etc) if the biochemistry is abnormal.

If you doubt this report you can always check it by repeating the tests in an accredited lab.I would recommend Blood urea and serum creatinine.
Ultrasound is done within 15-20 minutes and generally you will get the report on the same day.Pain may not always be classical of kidney problem.

Brief Answer:
Recommend a screening by urologist if possible

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear.Thanks for your query.

The value of creatinine seems to be well within the reference range specified by the lab.So nothing to worry. Still I would recommend a screening for rest of kidney function by a urologist to rule out underlying abnormality if any based on the history shared.

Thanks and Regards
