She has tried. other medications with no Good outcome. now our insurance provider Blue Cross Blue Shield Peehip. Will not pay for the Adderall any longer. We have been through several processes of Appeals with no good results. Her doctor is lazy and does not seem to want to be very helpful. Brief Answer:
only local doctor can provide help

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing to us. I can understand our concern for your wife.

You are absolutely right that when diagnosis of ADD is there, adderall can be prescribed. To diagnose ADD detail history and mental status examination are required. And that is also to be done by a psychiatrist preferably. Insurance company does not consider online diagnosis valid as online prescriptions are not approved by laws. But yes you can consult another local doctor and get diagnosis on paper and then apply for adderall.

Let me know your exact location so I may provide some link to find doctor near to you.

Hope this answer will help.

Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
