Suffering From Pain Done Root Canal & Fitted The Cap Around Two Years Back
Question: I have done root canal & fitted the cap around 1.6 years back to one of my teeth in XXXXXXX from one of the good dentist but that teeth is under pain & now I am staying in XXXXXXX UP where that doctor suggested to remove this cap & do the root canal again. She concluded. this after doing X-ray of teeth. She found there is infection below teeth & is penetrated in the bones. Please advise is their any other solution than doing root canal again & placing the cap.

Hi,
I would have given you a dose of antibiotics and analgesics for 5 days and see if pain will subside because sometimes you might have had a hard bite on hard substance. It might have caused abscess. If in case still after 5 days medication there is pain then you may have to undergo re rootcanal treatment.hope you have understood what I meant. Thank you have a healthy day.
