Question: Small inferolateral chronic left cerebellar cortical infarction.
Minimal diffusion negative, punctate T2 and FLAIR hyperintense lesions
are present in the bilateral periventricular and subcortical cerebral
white matter, predominantly in the bilateral frontal and parietal
lobes, non-specific, but most consistent with minimal chronic small
vessel ischemic cerebral white matter disease. Mild to moderate
generalized parenchymal volume loss. what does this mean and will it get worst?

I don;t deal with pdf files. just an email. this was also made worst by my sister in law who says 9YEARS AGGO) THAT i HAD TROUBLE FINDING MY CAR. i ENTERED THR NORTH DOOR, EXITED THR SOUTH OF GROCERY STORE.. YEP. CAR WASN'T THERE. JUST RECENTLY SAME PERSON WATCHED ME WALK PAST MY CAR BY ONE SPOT. i PRESSES THE BUTTON AND THE CAR WAS BEHIND ME. THIS PERSON SAW THIS AND TOLD MY DAUGHTER THAT SHE HAD A CONVERSATION WITH ME THAT I DON'T REMEMBER. WE DIDN'T HAVE A CONVERSATION. i HUGGED HER AND THANKED HER AND TOLD HER i WAS FINE. i HAVE AVOIDED THIS PERSON FOR37 YEARS, BUT SHE IS VERY CLOSE TO MY DAUGHTER AND HAVE PLAYED TRICKS ON ME. SHE DIRECTED ME TO A BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR A 4 YEAR OLD NEPHEW AND THEN MOVED LOCATIONS. BOTH DAUGHTER AND SISTER IN LAW BLAMED EACH OTHER. i KNOW THIS SOUNDS PARANOID BUT THIS SISTER ON LAW JUST DESERTED HER HUSBAND WHO IS DISABLED VET AND DIDN'T TELL ANY ONE. MY DAUGHTER SAYS SHE IS DONE WITH HER. JUST SOME BACKGROUND INFO. A LOT OF STRESS. i DON'T KNOW IF THIS AFFECTS MY BRAIN. LOST 1 BROTHER WHEN i WAS 10, A SISTER AROUND 35 AND A BROTHER 2 YEARS AGO. LOST M Y HUSBAND IN 2015 AND MY OTHER DAUGHTER IN 2014 FROM MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY. i ALSO SMOKED SINCE 16 BUT STOPPED BEFORE CANCER SURGERY.
SORRY LOST MY HUSBAND IN 2005. NOT 2015. AND NEIGHBORS FOUND MY DISABLED VET INLAW. HE TRIED TO COMMIT SUICIDE ON XMAS DAY . NEIGHBORS HAD MY DAUGHTERS PHONE #. WIFE HAD LEFT 5 OR 6 MONTHS BEFORE THIS. ALSO DAUGHTER REPORTED ME TO DOCTOR WHEN SHE FOUND OUT i WAS SPLITTING THE WILL 3 WAYS, HER AND HER TWO SONS.DOCTOR SENT ME TO PHYCOLOGIST WHO SAID i WAS DOING FINE FOR MY AGE AND HAD TO MUCH STRESS IN MY LIFE. SORRY SO SCATTERED. REALIZED "STRESS) WASN'T DEFINED ENOUGH.

I have noted your MRI brain findings as well as the clinical details. I would like to reassure you that the MRI findings are minor and there is no need to worry. It shows ischemic changes (lack of blood flow to brain) and atrophy (shrinkage of brain). Atrophy is a normal process that occurs with ageing.
Regarding ischemia, screen for risk factors such as diabetes, high BP, cholesterol, etc. If any abnormalities, that should be corrected. If you are not on aspirin, it would be useful to start aspirin.
